Oscar Cordon has had one of the most exciting years of his life.
The 18-year-old North York Native recently signed his first professional contract with Toronto FC, and made his MLS debut against DC United this past year.
I caught up with Oscar's former U- 16 Ontario coach Joey Lombardi to talk about Oscar's rapid rise to TFC, and what it means for Canada's best young soccer players.
Joey has lots to say, and although the clip is only around 3 minutes, Joey hints at a close relationship between the OSA and TFC. That is music to the ears of many in the GTA, as I've heard countless stories of TFC letting players "slip through the cracks."
