Call me a stickler for the European ways... but I can't help but feel depressed now that TFC are mathematically out of the Supporters' Shield race. It's barely August...
I guess that just means Champion's League knockout stage or bust!

easiest not to think about it really
even if you go with north american ways and look at playoffs, mathematically is the only way we have any hope, and even then, it’s tiny.
ah well, I’m not too surprised, even before it started I was looking at this season as pre season 2012, with the v-cup and ccl as welcome distractions that actually give us something attainable to go at. and that’s how it’s worked out.
if it happens again next year, I’ll be pissed off though.
