Proper pre-season prep
Mmm, alliteration.
The above link is to Dave's latest article for Sportsnet, looking at TFC's pre-season schedule. It's quite the change from the chaos of last year's Turkey, Orlando and Charleston schedule to this year's set-up which has the Mickey Mouse Cup as the only official games. Will it be enough to get TFC ready for the games against L.A?

I’m definitely a little nervous about the lack of games. for me you’d like a few games where the result doesn’t matter and you have a different lineup for each half, to experiment with different players and see who works. then ideally in the last 2 or 3 games, you get your first team out there so they can properly gel and get used to each other.
Not sure we’ll really be able to do that this year. oh well, got to trust Winter and co I guess.

The main thing that has reduced my nervousness is that their are very few roster spots up for grabs in camp this year. I always feel it is a shame to cut a player without seeing them in a game setting so that was where I felt the most worried.
For a team that is figured out the three or four games is fine but for the fringe player good luck getting a chance to show what you have!
