NBC is going to be the home of MLS in the States for this coming year. The good news is that they seem to be taking that role very seriously and have produced some very good promo videos thus far.
The latest video takes a sound clip of Portland Timbers singing the American National anthem to try and build excitement for March 11th.
Now the video is obviously very American and has nothing to do with Toronto FC as they are not taking part in first kick but it is nice to see the MLS getting that sort of quality build up down south.
Will a day come where we see any of the Canadian networks investing that sort of time and money in building excitement for our three clubs and the league as a whole?

I doubt TSN will spend that kind of money on MLS promos, because there’s no guys with hockey sticks, or curling brushes… As for this promo, is that our TFC scarf at second 21???
i thought that myself for a moment, but it’s not a design I recognise and it would be an unusual choice in an ad based around the US anthem, so i doubt it. Black, red and white. D.C maybe?
