Canada's Under 17 Women's team beat Mexico 1-0 in the semi final of the Concacaf qualifying tournament, meaning they get to the final where they'll play the US team. More importantly, that result means they have qualified for the World Cup in Azerbaijan from 22nd September to 13th October. Valérie Sanderson scored the winner in the first half.
