Josh Simpson out 8 months.

Word came out yesterday of an injury to Josh Simpson while playing for his club side BSC Young Boys, and now it's confirmed that he has a broken, tibia, fibula and ankle, with 8 months being the latest recovery time mentioned. That would of course mean he'll miss all 6 of Canada's World Cup Qualifying games this year as opposed to the prospect of him returning for the later games when it was first thought it would be just 3 months. A big blow to Canada's hopes obviously as he's often looked like one of our most dangerous attackers. Hopefully the team can thrive without him and use it as motivation to ensure he'll have a bunch of Hex games to play in when he returns next year.
