New Era, same results

My latest article is up for Sportsnet, looking at the first game of the Mariner era, desperately searching for and failing to find signs of positive change. A terrible start, sloppy defence and individual errors led to early goals, then we eventually looked good when the opprosition took their foot off the gas. Same old, same old.

It's a bit more of a professional environment over at Sportsnet, but if I'd written that to post here, I would have ended it with a reluctant, depressed and self loathing link to this. What's that whistling sound? Why, it's Axl Rose.
