Generation Adidas Cup, U-17 Final. Toronto FC v Philadelphia Union. Highlights.

The game was played a few days ago, we told you the results, and you already saw the best highlights in Jordan Hamilton's and Mark Wadid's goals. This is an extra bonus, an 11 minute youtube highlight package of the under 17 final, from GOALWA.net.

There's some good individual skill involved, and some good passing moves from TFC, which is good to see. Philly's first is kind of scrappy, before the fantastic goals from Hamilton and Wadid made it 2-1 for TFC, before a nice move down the right ended with Philadelphia's right winger (presumably, he was wide on the right, so that's what I'm going to call him), got in behind the defence and slotted it past the goalie. TFC had a couple of chances to score again in one move, number 46 got a chance but hit it right at the goalie, before an Amarikwa-esque completely missed bicycle kick attempt by number 35 killed the move off.

It went to penalties, and of course that was never going to end well for those wearing red was it? TFC's 1st and 5th shots were saved and it ended 4-3 to Philadelphia and then it was on to the presentation. Someone from Columbus got the golden boot and Philadelphia get the shiny trophy at the end.

Enjoy, and remember, I believe the children are the future.
