What an incredible game! What an incredible morning for Canadian women's soccer -- bronze medalists, and the first Canadian team to win a "traditional" team sport medal in seventy six years. It'd be an understatement to say that we here at Waking the Red is not tickled pink by this development.
So with all that said and done, how was the rest of the country feeling? We pulled all of the best (and worst) of Twitter this morning, and Storify'd them for your viewing pleasure, and will be staying on it as the afternoon progresses into the medal ceremony.
