The lights shine down the valley, the wind blows up the alley,
Well I wish I was lying in the arms of Mary.
She took the pains of boyhood, and turned them in to feel good.
Oh, how I wish I was lying in the arms of Mary!

- "Arms of Mary", Sutherland Brothers / Chilliwack / Keith Urban / Boyzone

It's not even been a week since these two sides have last met, but now here they are. In the lush Central American surroundings that is Panama, Canada will be looking to take another step towards the safety of the CONCACAF hex, but they're going to have to earn that step forward...and how. But then again, a win at home less than five days ago against the same opponent helps, right? As Van Halen might say, Pistons poppin', ain't no stoppin' now.

The Canadians will have to do this without a few pieces of their arsenal though -- Olivier Occean is suffering from back issues, and Will Johnson is suspended due to yellow card accumulation. Plus, there's been endless street parties outside their hotel hosted by Panamanian supporters with too much time on their hands, and a generally hostile reception from the locals. Easy job, right?

Oh, and then there's the issue of Panamanian antics. It'll definitely do Canada well to not react to it, and continue to play compactly as they did. They'll definitely have to find a way to get more than a goal if they want to come out of this, and Simeon Jackson will have to find some spark to get that goal scoring touch -- as we know all too well, Dwayne de Rosario can't do it all himself. (even if he thinks he can...)

This game will be televised live on Sportsnet ONE, and all CityTV stations across the country. Plus, it will be streamed live on Sportsnet's website -- so turn on the TV, mute the commentary, and join us in our CoveritLive window after the jump starting at 8:45pm ET (or on your favourite mobile device -- be it of the tree fruit kind, the berry kind, or the robot kind...) for pre-game chat and in-game text commentary with myself, Dave, Michael, Kristin and Duncan.

Let's all take one more step towards the arms of Mary Hex!
