Poor Bob de Klerk. He got a couple of hours as the big TFC story of the day, but then this afternoon came a tweet from Ives Galarcep, providing further details on the Ryan Nelsen rumour of the last few days.

This was confirmed shortly after by John Molinaro.

A source just confirmed to me what Ives first reported. Ryan Nelsen has been hired as the new #TFC coach.

We'll have lots more on this later, and there's to be a press conference tomorrow. For now, I'll just leave that there. I've very little sympathy for Paul Mariner, and we don't know exactly what his fate is, maybe he gets shuffled upstairs, I guess we'll find out tomorrow, but another rookie head coach? It's certainly not dull around here.
