Links: MLS week in review, and Voyageurs Cup preview

The words Vancouver Whitecaps still don't sully the VoyageursCup. Long may it stay that way. - http://www.flickr.com/photos/canadasoccer

Waking the Red all over the internet. James' weekly review of MLS action from Canadian Soccer News, and Duncan's latest for Sportsnet, looking at the Voyageurs Cup match to come.

A few articles for you here from Waking the Red writers elsewhere on the webs. First up, it's to Canadian Soccer News and James' weekly wrap up of the week that was in MLS. Cards are back out of the referees back pockets in a big way after an unusually quiet first few weeks, and in many other ways - Toronto conceding late: like clockwork, San Jose scoring in an equally timely fashion, Los Angeles looking imperious on the break, Vancouver woeful on the road, and a cluster of very tight matches - it was a return to normalcy, though was an own goal actually the goal of the week?

Recaps and highlights from all the games can be found here, and a seperate run down of how the Canadians in MLS did here.

Next up is my latest article for Sportsnet looking at the Voyageurs Cup, what sort of team we're likely to see from Toronto, and what sort of team I think we should see. This stretch of games will be a tough test of TFC's squad strength, what should TFC should be focusing on in this rebuilding season?
