What is it with Houston and Canada? Other than the fact that the warm location and the fact that some of Canada's top stars have played for the Dynamo, there isn't much -- but for some reason, something always seems to click for TFC when they take on the Dynamo. Maybe there is something to prove? Or maybe there is an unknown rivalry? Either way, Ryan Nelsen and the Reds will have a whale of a time at BMO Field trying to get three points.
The Dynamo are the class of the MLS, thanks largely to a experienced and wily coach in Dominic Kinnear. Many names may have departed for new
greener pastures since these sides last met, but names like Brad Davis, Ricardo Clark, Brian Ching and Adam Moffat still remain, joining new names like Giles Barnes, Omar Cummings, Boniek Garcia and others. But even then, some aren't all that confident.
On the home side, well...things aren't bad, but they aren't good either. Three straight games, three straight draws. Ashtone Morgan is suspended, while Eckersley, Dunfield and Russell are out to injury. So the ever-fragile TFC backline will depend on O'Dea leading Agbossoumonde, Richter and Henry. Robert Earnshaw is still on fire, and only time will tell if Hogan Ephraim will make an appearance...and hey, today would be nice, no? (And if you think you know how this game turns out, prove it with our Are You Smarter? game!)
