So there's this player who used to play for Columbus, Vancouver, and Montreal. Eff that guy right? Well generally yes, it would be hard to be fond of a player with that kind of resumé, but all of a sudden I have a lot of respect for a player with just that list of distasteful clubs in his past.
David Testo has come out in an interview with CBC Radio Canada, saying how hard it was to have to hide his homosexuality. The most poignant part of it was the sadness he felt when unable to thank his partner when accepting his Impact MVP award in 2009.
I don`t really have anything profound to say about it, but wanted to add my well wishes and congratulations to David. It`s another small step towards a more accepting world which is a very good thing.
