Game thread: Toronto FC v DC United

Toronto FC v DC United

BMO Field 7pm E.S.T

Live on Gol TV

TFC get right back at it, this time against DC United. Two credible draws against San Jose and L.A have bolstered confidence, but three points against DC would definitely be welcome. Maicon Santos and Alan Gordon will probably be back, and there's a good chance we'lll see the debut of our new Right Back, Richard "by 'eck" Eckersley. Last time we played DC, it was all about an emotional farewell to Jaime Moreno. This one could see them welcome their new star striker, Charlie davies to the starting line up for the first time.

I've got all sorts of game previews for you. Here's my preview, Black and Red United's game preview, and scouting report of TFC, and MLSSoccer.com's preview, and there's all the usal pre game interviews and such like at TorontoFC.ca

Also, before the game, why not join in the new TFC prediction league, Are you smarter than Mo Johnston? Excellent prizes await. And one last thing,go now and get cheap tickets ($17!) in the Canadian supporters section for Canada v Ecuador, Wednesday June 1st, Bmo Field.

if you're not at the game or watching the NHL playoffs, join me here, the game starts at 7, I'll have lineups and such beforehand. I'll be at the game, actually watching this one from the press box, where I presume there's a better internet connnection that I can get on my blackberry from my seat in section 227, so I should be able to avoid another fiasco like my LA game thread.

Come on You Reds!
