Toronto FC's potential Champions League schedule partially released.

The schedule for the first couple of CCL games was released today. If Toronto FC can get by Real Esteli*, they'll start off with a Thursday evening game in Panama, against Tauro on August 18th*. The second game would be against FC Dallas or Alianza FC of El Salvador at home on Wednesday August 24th*. The first leg of that qualifier happens tonight.

That means that we'll be playing 3 games in 7 days*, Thursday*, Sunday (in Chicago, even though I'm going to that game, I really really hope we play the b team for that one*) and Wednesday*. Given the other team in the group is Mexican powerhouse Pumas ANAM, we'll have to hope to pick up points against both these teams if we have any hope of finishing in the top two*. Let's hope Aron Winter takes the Panama away game more seriously than Preki did with the squad he put out against Arabe Unido which cost us a chance of advancing*.

*Touch wood, fingers crossed, I'm not trying to jinx things I promise etc etc.
