3 points from the first 3 games means that there's very little room for further points to be dropped, and this one has to be considered an absolutely essential result for Toronto FC. The last time these two teams played, Toronto got 2 gifts, poor defending followed by poor goalkeeping gave them a two goal lead, that they then grimly hung on to for the rest of the game, it wasn't pretty but it just got the job done.
Of course the main thing that caused such a poor performance was a thoroughly Concacaf refereeing job, buying all the Tauro flops, penalising TFC players for almost everything, and basically turning TFC into a team afraid to even try and tackle. That should be less of an issue tonight, with the crowd favouring Toronto and a referee they'll be familiar with in Terry Vaughan (good old MLS referees, they'll do the job right. Not something you expect yourself to think often).

I'll be at the game myself, so can bring you team news and halftime and post game updates on my iphone,
