WTR's 2012 TFC Top 31 Countdown!

Make your voice heard and help us rank all the players who stepped on the pitch in a competitive game for TFC this season.

If you were reading this blog a year ago, and are still reading it now, a) Thank you, and b) hopefully you remember the top 40 countdown from last year, rating every player who took the pitch for TFC. If not, you can check out the whole thing here, browse all the profiles, from Frings to Griffit.

Anyway, the point of this post is that we're doing it again this year. Obviously we didn't quite use as many players this year, so it'll be a top 31 countdown instead, but starting Tuesday November 6th, we'll be profiling and commenting on all the players who played even the smallest part of a competitive game for TFC this year, one a day from number 31 until we reach number one some time in December...but to get there, we need your help.

I'm looking to get as many people to vote as possible, so as to come up with a definitive list where personal biases against certain players get averaged out, and we end up with a good idea of how TFC supporters as a whole rate the team and players.

Here's what to base the rankings on, a very straight forward question. Who had the most positive impact on Toronto FC's season? Base it on whatever you want really, stats, overall play, off pitch antics both good and bad, goals scored against us for other teams, whatever you think made a difference...you be the judge.

If you want to participate, send me an email at duncanfletcher@gmail.com and I'll send you the form to fill out, it might take me a day or two to get back to you as I'm going to be on vacation for the next week and only sporadically checking emails, but I'll send you the form eventually. You reply with your ratings, I'll collate the results and we'll go from there.

Also, like last year, feel free to add your own comments about any or all of the players and I'll include as many as I can within each players profiles. Cheers.
