The 2012 MLS playoffs kick off this evening with the Eastern Conference knockout game, and once again we're not privy to coverage...but we can still pick who we think will win!
After much milling, hemming, hawing, and even more hemming, followed by a bit of guffawing, your WTR writing staff along with guests -- which include WTR Live commentator Kristin Knowles, Gay4Soccer's New England correspondent Adam Sell, RedNation Online's Armen Bedakian and Canadian Soccer News' Daniel Squizzato -- have come up with our picks, and we've got it all listed below in our handy-dandy graphic:
As you can see, there's a wide variety of choices, but most of us agree that Sporting Kansas City will come out of the East, and we're unanimous in the fact that Vancouver will crash and burn (when we have guest prognosticator Adam also agreeing, you can't argue we are completely biased), and the knockout round survivors (LA, Chicago or Houston) simply will not have the legs to go any farther.
Think you can do better? Let us know in the comments below!
