MLS Re-Entry Draft: Stage Two - Live Thread.

Earl Cochrane has said there's a good chance TFC will pick someone, we've got the first pick, there's no-one to stop us taking anyone. As the always quotable Paul Mariner might say "It's a shop, go out there and take what you want".

Who knows exactly what it is that TFC want (I know what I want. Chad Barrett! Pleeeeeeeeeeease!), maybe they won't get it, after all anyone that they choose still has to be renegotiated with and agree to join up. I mean a centre back is an obvious want, Danny Califf looks good, but would he now be more amenable to coming to Toronto than he was last year when he begged not to be sent here.

Though they might not get what they want, they're pretty much guaranteed to get what they need, given how many needs that still exist, even if it is just some cheap depth to fill out the back end of the squad.

Talking of (hopefully) cheap depth, Andrew Wiedeman confirmed on twitter last night that he'll be back, and Jeremy Hall was also taken off the list yesterday so there could well be news of him signing up as well by the time this goes live.
