2012 MLS Season, Game 14
BMO Field, Toronto, Ontario
7:00pm ET (5:00pm MT)
Rogers Sportsnet One, Ontario, Galavision
When I think of all the worries people seem to find,
And how they're in a hurry to complicate their mind.
By chasing after money and dreams that can't come true,
I'm glad that we are different, we've better things to do.
May others plan their future, I'm busy lovin' you.

Eight points in the last five league games. It definitely looks better than zero in nine, but how much longer will it last, especially with the New York Red Bulls invading BMO once again? The Reds haven't beaten the Energy Drinks for the past two seasons, with their last meeting the first draw in five attempts -- will this new trend sweep away the New Yorkers along with the Union and the Impact? We shall find out today.
Like Toronto's win over the Impact, New York is coming off a 3-2 win on Sunday over rivals D.C. United, and with the win has secured a share of the Eastern Conference lead. Early reports are stating that Rafa Marquez will not be available due to a thigh injury, but French striker Thierry Henry and defender Wilman Conde will be available for the clash.
No major changes on the TFC front, although there is a rumoured exit-slash-loan deal that will see the under-performing Joao Plata return to Ecuador, a move that will likely see his time in Toronto come to an end. With Ryan Johnson and Danny Koevermans on form, and his moves figured out -- it was almost an inevitability that the little Ecuadorean would move on.
For your reading pleasure, we have Dave's full preview of the game, as well as James' thorough, though briefer than usual Know Your Enemy, and eff it, some Plata nostalgia, let's go back to his appearance at number 3 in the TFC top 40 countdown. If you're here early enough, you can also test out your prediction skills with our infamous Are You Smarter? game.
We'll be here with team news in the comments section when it his the twitter at about 6ish, and for general chat beforehand and comments through the game, so join us then. This unbeaten streak may not last, but until it ends...let's enjoy it while we can.
