"That girl thinks that she's the queen of the neighbourhood,
She got the hottest trike in town.
That girl she holds her head up so high,
I think I wanna be her best friend, yeah."

So, Vancouver is holding down a playoff spot, halfway through the season -- everything seemingly all going right for them, and their fan base is feeling overconfident as usual. Well, I guess it sounds like a perfect time for another reality check, don't you think?
The Reds are coming off a 3-0 loss to Philadelphia on Sunday, snapping a five-game unbeaten string. Simply put, the schedule finally caught up to them, and the result reflected this. And there is of course the ongoing drama surrounding what in the name of Sam Hill happened with Joao Plata, and the potential coming of another Bermudan to the Toronto set-up. But then again, we're still Canadian champions.
Vancouver, for their part, is coming off a scoreless draw in Los Angeles against Chivas USA on Saturday, and claiming a 1-0 win in Colorado despite being outplayed. They're of course hungry to avenge their Canadian Championship loss (some claim was stolen, while others claim it was a fix due to the referee's hometown), and are boasting a new weapon in Scotsman Barry Robson. Meanwhile, the schedule's toll on TFC is evident, with Danny Koevermans and Terry Dunfield listed as questionable for the match.
You can read Duncan's full preview of the game here, and do take a look at James' award-eligible Know Your Enemy blurb for his insight on Vancouver's possible strategy and lineups -- it's some amazing stuff, and outlines a lot of the things we'll be looking for tonight.
