It was a big day for the Toronto FC academy with a pair of big finals in the 2012 Generation Adidas Cup. Both the U15 and U17 sides were chasing down the top prize at the tournament following impressive semifinal wins. Sadly though things did not go their way.

The U15 team came out on the wrong end against Chivas USA following a penalty decision in extra time that allowed Chivas to claim a 2-1 win. For the U17 side it came down to penalties before they were beaten by the Philadelphia Union. Regular time and extra time ended with the two sides level at 2 goals a piece before the Union won the penalty shootout 4-3.

The two goals from the U17 team came from two of Toronto's most promising talents. By netting in the final match Jordan Hamilton and Mark Wadid both ran their goal totals for the tournament to three a piece. They also both did it in impressive fashion as you can see in the links below! For more on the matches the Toronto FC site has a brief recap up.
