Misery loves company, so follow all the action here as TFC blunder their way into Gillette Stadium.

Let's hope for more shirt over the head frustration for Chad Barrett tonight.

The Score

So, after all that Deutschlandy champions league goodness, we move on to the day's really important game as our band of increasingly less lovable losers, at least those of them who are still fit and healthy, go up against New England.

Is there hope? Sure there is, though if you're looking for more than "It's a funny old game" "Anything can happen in any given game" "The ball is round" type platitudes, you're probably going to be disappointed. Reggie Lambe's certainly due his one in six game, Robert Earnshaw might find his goalscoring touch again, all sorts of things could happen.

They probably won't though. New England don't seem to concede all that many goals, and after a rough start to the season, they have now actually started too score some themselves, so this has all the makings of another disappointment and a fifth straight league defeat.

Anyway, misery loves company, so join us here. Before it all starts catch up on all the pre game reading you could need, how you doin', know your enemy, smarter than winter and a full game preview, all available by clicking right here. We'll have team news as soon as it hits the twitters, then gallows humour our way through it all, right up to Chad Barrett's injury time game winner. Fun.
