So, here it is then, one of the two genuinely important games TFC have left this season. Will TFC be left looking over their shoulders at a resurgent DC team now just 4 points back, and with Vancouver eagerly watching as their chances of getting the number one pick in next years draft dramatically improve? Or can they not only put themselves a comfortable 10 points ahead of DC, but also get to 5 wins and 23 points to equal the tally of last year's craptacular team with 9 games remaining?
Can they win one for Matias' dedo gordo? Can Maxi Urruti do soemthing special to show us that yes, we should have faith that Kevin Payne knows what he's doing? Or will it be a case of Silva's revenge, showing us that TFC just keep on making the same old mistakes and nothing's ever going to change is it? Or may it'll be a mind numbingly crap 0-0 that resolves nothing at all, yeah, that sounds about right. We'll find out tonight of course in what promises to be another feats of football amid the crumbling splendour of RFK stadium.
For more detailed pre game reading, you can check out our game hub for Know Your Enemy from James, my full preview, How you doin'? from Kristin featuring Adam Taylor of Black and Red United and of course smarter than winter. Speaking of Black and Red United, check out their Match Center(sic) for previews, scouting reports, podcasts and more previewing the game.
We'll have team news when it hits twitter and comments, chat, nonsense etc throughout the game. I'll actually be home for one of these for the first time in a long time, and you know, misery loves company, so join me.
Come on you Reds.
