Canada vs Colombia, October 14th. New York. Get tickets with the Voyageurs

Canada are playing Colombia in a couple of weeks. In New York. You should go. Here's where to get tickets.

John E. Sokolowski-USA TODAY Sports

Remember watching Canada beat Jamaica in September, that was fun wasn't it? Want to watch another game? (same result in no way guaranteed) Sure you do.

Also, you like international football right?  You remember the World Cup right? Remember how you really liked the swashbuckle of Colombia?  Wouldn't you like to watch them live? Well now you can, or at least a reasonable facsimile of that World Cup squad.

Also, want to watch Ecuador play El Salvador? Yeah, I don't care all that much either, but you can, and hey, maybe Joao Plata will play?

You can do all of these things at the same time, this October 14th at Red Bull Arena in the wasteland of Harrison, NJ. One ticket gets you into both games of the doubleheader and the Voyageurs are here to help you do that, all in the drunken and ever implausibly hopeful embrace of fellow Canmnt supporters.

Go here for the details.

and here's a link to where you can buy tickets. Section 213 is reserved for Canadian fans and tickets are $40 Canadian.

Thinking it's a lot of time and money for the sake of one game? Well why not make it an extra long thanksgiving weekend, full of Toronto sports. TFC are of course playing against the Red Bulls on the Saturday, the Leafs are playing the Rangers on Sunday and the Raptors are playing the Knicks on Monday, there's all sorts of extra reason to pass a few days in New York, as well as simply New York itself of course.

Even if Colombia isn't at full strength, this should be a very tough test for Canada, you've got to think it'll be more about the learning experience than any kind of realistic hope for a win, but stranger things have happened. Either way, should be a good one to watch. Click on the link above to get your tickets. You know you want to.

One last thing, with the h/t to kent martin for reminding me I meant to put this in, In the category of stranger things have happened, enjoy the last time Canada played Colombia.
