The season is officially over and @IAmSairax padded her win in the final game with a 2-1 prediction to finish the season with 65 points. Congratulations! You are officially smarter than Paul Mariner. I'm sure this trophy will be proudly displayed and shown to everyone you know.
Optimism ruled in the early stages of the season however as the summer moved along the old pessimistic TFC followers (myself included) began to climb the table. Looking back to the feeling that was running through Toronto with the win in Seattle it is very disappointing that the buzz that was created didn't last and we will all have to wait at least one more year to see a playoff game.
There were plenty of wild predictions throughout the year, many calling for a goalfest but without a doubt the best prediction of the year goes to david.riddles who correctly predicted a 4-2 win over Houston on July 12th. The six goals in the game were the most of any game this season.
Smarter than is a great little distraction from the disappointing performances that we are so you to seeing so thanks again to everyone who played along this year.
