New league leader as Hammerheads slip. Who's hot? Who's not? Jackson returns to the TFC lineup, should you start him?

Will you be putting Jackson in your lineup this week? How about your other TFC players?

Let last week’s match in Salt Lake serve as a lesson to all fantasy players. Don’t deprive your fantasy squad of capable fill-ins. Suspensions and injuries will strike your team throughout the year make sure you have players you can rely on to step up when called upon. There is a new leader atop the Waking the Red League. Tim Is The New Black is sitting on top of the mountain this week. This rounds winner is Michael Przybylowski with 67 points. Michael overcame four players scoring 2 or less points to finish on top, quite the feat.

The Colorado Rapids penalty taker Vicente Sanchez is the hottest add in fantasy this week. If Colorado keeps averaging better than one penalty per game Sanchez is going to rack up a tonne of points. If you’ve visited the MLS website over the last week you’ve probably seen quite a few pieces on the FC Dallas playmaker Mauro Diaz. All the Diaz talk has led to a lot of players transferring for the former River Plate midfielder.

As you probably are aware of by now Jermain Defoe probably won’t be in the lineup this weekend. Subsequently players are deciding that the $10.9m of their budget can be used elsewhere this week. Jermain Defoe leads the way in players being dropped this week. For the second straight week Joao Plata makes this list. Plata owners are continuing to find other forwards to plug in their line up until the Ecuadorian returns to RSL’s lineup.

The hottest team in MLS, the Columbus Crew (barf) will host TFC this weekend. While Jackson will return to the lineup the Reds will be without Jonathan Osorio for another week along with the aforementioned Defoe. Until someone else shows they are capable of scoring some goals there is not a lot of reason to put your TFC players in your lineup on game day. The Crew are on fire this season and that doesn't bode well for the back end of the TFC lineup. The potential to give up multiple goals is definitely present. Play all Reds with extreme caution this weekend.
