Toronto FC vs. Houston Dynamo

BMO Field 7PM Eastern

Toronto FC have not beaten the Houston Dynamo in three years, but there is no time like the present to end that streak. For one, TFC have done plenty of things this year that they have not been able to accomplish in the past. The Houston Dynamo also come into BMO Field in a terrible bout of form, having lost five of their last six matches. That trend becomes even worse when considering this game is played on the road, where the Dynamo have only scored five goals all season.

That in itself makes this match very important for Toronto, who have had their own bout of mediocre form since the World Cup break ended. The team is winless, with two away draws being followed by last week's disappointing 2-1 loss to DC United at home.

Toronto may have to once again operate without Michael Bradley, as reports indicate that he may or may not be in the starting lineup for Toronto on this occasion. Up front, however, it does appear like Gilberto's hip has healed adequately and he will be ready to return in some capacity for this match. After finally scoring his first goal it will be interesting to see if he can continue his good form against Houston. On the Houston side of things there are a lot of positives, as Brad Davis and Oscar Boniek Garcia are back from the United States and Honduras respectively. Ricardo Clark also returns from injury.
