The EPL and Ligue 1 begin today, the Bundesliga takes off next week and Serie A in two weeks. Can you smell that? International soccer is back! With a win today, the Reds could be in a comfortable playoff spot to finally make the playoffs, but they will have to beat reigning champs and Eastern Conference leaders Sporting KC.
Here's something that should amuse TFC fans, former Reds striker Robert Earnshaw has found a new club, and it's in MLS. Earnshaw appeared in 26 games last season for TFC and netted eight goals.
Italy international legend Andrea Pirlo could make take his luscious locks of hair to MLS after his contract with Juventus in Serie A runs out. Pirlo will be 37 when his current deal expires so maybe a MLS team won't be interested in a player at that age. However, Pirlo would add so much to any team that he joins in MLS and would add a playmaking touch that is immense.
