Toronto will once again be among the host cities for the International Champions Cup as BMO Field will host a summer match between Paris Saint-Germain and FC Porto. It is the second straight year that the event has included a match played in Canada.

Last year, BMO Field was host to Olympiacos' 3-0 victory over AC Milan in the opening match of the 2014 tournament. Just over 10,000 supporters attended the match which was the first ever time the tournament took place in Canada.

BMO Field will certainly be hoping that the large number of recognizable international stars on PSG and Porto will help improve on those attendance numbers this year. With the possibility of Zlatan Imbrahimovic, David Luiz, Edison Cavani, Thiago Silva, Marco Verratti, Ricardo Quaresma and Christian Tello playing there should be a bigger draw.

Tickets for the event are set to go on sale Thursday May 14. Price range for these tickets have yet to be released.

PSG and Porto will be joined in the International Champions Cup by a number of other teams internationally. Manchester United, Chelsea, Fiorentina, Barcelona, Club America will also be joining from outside of the US, while MLS sides Los Angeles Galaxy, New York Red Bulls and San Jose Earthquakes will be involved.

Other host cities for the tournament include San Francisco, Southern California, New York, Seattle, Charlotte, Hartford, London, Florence, Houston and Chicago. The tournament will run between July 11 and August 5 with 17 matches to be played around the world.

Manchester United won last year's tournament after defeating Liverpool 3-1 in the final. This year's competition will be slightly different, based on an accumulation of points with each team playing four tournament games. For MLS teams, regular season games will count towards their point total.
