The next stop on the TFC North American tour is Chicago this weekend. Chicago hasn’t been in great form to start the year and some even believe that Frank Yallop is on the hot seat already. With Bradley and Altidore returning this match seems like one of the better bets for TFC to grab three points on this road trip.
Harry Shipp is the in-form player for the Fire, he’s shown to be dangerous since he arrived in the windy city. Without Shipp Chicago would be struggling even more than they currently are offensively with Mike Magee out long term. A familiar face for this match is Quincy Amarikwa, who has seen plenty of action since leaving Toronto. It seems like ex-Reds score regularly against TFC, Quincy is the only one with the possibility of delivering that dagger this weekend.
Half of the TFC back line is on the injury report so it was a bit of good fortune for TFC seeing the opponents defence take a bit of a hit as standout keeper Sean Johnson missed practice Thursday. He will likely be ready for the match but he may not be at 100% by kick-off.
Do TFC walk out of Chicago with the full 3 points?
Scoring; 2 points for the correct result, 1 point for the correct TFC score and 1 point for the correct opponent score. Post in the comment section below or mention me (@Stouffvillain) before kick-off to be eligible.
