TFC got back to their winning ways on Wednesday but it didn't feel like a win since they still were eliminated from the Canadian Championship on the away goals rule. The positives of that match were that TFC offensively looked more along the lines of the squad many imagined. Will the reds carry that forward on the road to New England this weekend?
New England field a very balanced squad in every way possible. They can play technically and physically if needed, are solid defensively and can attack you in a variety of ways. There isn't just one or two players you can look to shut down and guarantee a victory. Even though the Revs play in the monstrous Gillette Stadium they have managed to make it a fortress this season netting 11 of a possible 15 points at home (3 wins, 2 draws, 0 losses). When you only concede two goals in five matches good things will happen.
This looks to be another match where TFC will look to play very conservative in defense and attempt to hit their opponent on a counter attack. Relying on a few moments of brilliance from their stars has done the Reds well on the road thus far. Can they do it again?
