The Reds will try to sort out their recent defensive issues as the Philadelphia Union come to BMO Field. Joe Bendik will be back between the sticks as Chris Konopka is suspended for what was deemed as a dangerous challenge by the MLS Disciplinary Committee. The Reds defence that has conceded eight goals in their last two matches will also receive a boost with the return of Damien Perquis and Ashtone Morgan.
The Philadelphia Union struggled out of the gate this season things have turned around for the Union as of late as they are undefeated in four straight games against other MLS clubs across all competitions. That stretch includes wins over Portland, Seattle and DC though all those games were at PPL Park. The other side of that is that Philadelphia have won just a single game on the road in MLS play this season. The Union's recent road form is down right awful. In their last five road matches they are 1-0-4 with loses of 5-1, 3-0 and 4-1 in favour of the home team. Things don't get any better for Philly as they will also be missing Mo Edu due to an accumulation of yellow cards.
TFC are 1-1-1 in their last three MLS matches at home with a goal difference of 0 in those matches. With the squad nearly at full strength will TFC step on the throat of their opponents or will they play down to their competition once again?
