While in the U12 division Sporting KC Academy, Columbus Crew Academy, DC United Academy, Ottawa South United, and York Region Soccer Association.
The full schedule can be viewed at torontofc.ca.
I happened to be up there last season and was able to catch a little bit of play. And I must say, I was rather impressed with the calibre of player on hand – and the raucous support from some of the parents. All in good fun.
Houston were there last year too and they had one kid who looked the part, if only 11 or 12 years old.
It's always good to get a preview of what may be coming up from the academy in the future. Have been hearing some very good things regarding what has quietly been happening there, so this weekend offers a chance to check it out in person.
