Toronto FC’s regular-season schedule for 2017 has been released in full, with the Reds - as we already knew - opening the season at Real Salt Lake and closing it out away to Atlanta United.
Greg Vanney’s team will not face the Montreal Impact until August 27, but will then meet their rivals three times in the two months before the playoffs start.
Here’s the schedule in full:

There are two particularly tough stretches, the first of which is the run of three away games against FC Dallas, Orlando City and New York City in July followed by not-easy home matches against the Colorado Rapids and NYCFC again. To close out the season, after that first Montreal game, TFC face trips to the LA Galaxy, New England Revolution and Atlanta United as well as hosting the Impact twice more.
That means a good start is important, and there would seem to be plenty of winnable games before a nationally televised MLS Cup rematch at the Seattle Sounders on May 6. There is also a shorter friendly-looking period after the tough road trip in July.
Four games are currently scheduled for national coverage in the United States against Sporting Kansas City, Seattle, New York City and Montreal. All of Toronto’s games will be broadcast on TSN for local viewers and out-of-market fans can watch on MLS Live.
