So far it has all been reports and rumours. While it seems we have learned a lot about Toronto FC’s offseason plans, especially in the past few days, none of it is yet set in stone.

Next week, however, we will start to learn for certain which Toronto FC players will be back, and who the team has decided to decline. A declined option does not necessarily mean a player will not be back at a reduced salary, evidently, but it is a good indication.

Per Joshua Kloke of The Athletic, Tosaint Ricketts and Clint Irwin are two names very likely to have their options declined. We discuss what Ricketts in particular has meant for Toronto FC, and why it might be time to move on this week's Footy Talks podcast.

Gavin Day joins the show to also talk about the number of other rumours that have cropped up in Toronto FC circles including the latest on Jonathan Osorio and Juninho.

We also discuss the Canadian Men’s National Team and what their 1-0 win over St. Kitts and Nevis means going forward, Gavin’s opinion on the U-20 disappointment and the Canadian women’s U-17 squad.
