Toronto FC II sign 14-year-old homegrown forward

Jahkeele Marshall-Rutty becomes the program’s youngest homegrown signing.

Toronto FC II

Toronto FC II announced today that they've signed 14-year-old Jahkeele Marshall-Rutty to a professional contract. That makes the homegrown forward the club's youngest-ever signing.

Playing in the USSDA this past season with TFC’s U15 squad, he led the entire division by posting a whopping 20 goals in 12 games.

We don't know a lot about Marshall-Rutty, but he could see some involvement with TFC II in their first season in USL League 1. We're all assuming he's going to be the next Alphonso Davies, but we'll wait for him to play to say that definitively.
