A day after Canada announced their roster, the United States Men’s National Team followed suit, naming their side for their upcoming October Concacaf Nations League fixtures against Cuba and the Canadians.
Chelesa FC attacker Christian Pulisic headlines the U.S. side, who will take on Cuba at home on Oct. 11 before traveling to Toronto to face Canada on Oct. 15. Meanwhile, TFC duo Jozy Altidore and Michael Bradley will return to to international duty for their country after the two designated players were left out of the side last month in the midst of a crucial and congested MLS-stretch.
The match set to take place later this month between Canada and the US at BMO Field will be the first leg of their two-legged tie, with the two teams set to meet again exactly a month later at Exploria Stadium in Orlando, Florida on Nov. 15.
What we can say for now are that the stakes are extremely high for Canada on Oct. 15.
