Toronto FC aren’t wasting any time with their holiday shopping this year. After locking up Michael Bradley to a TAM contract last week, the club is already narrowing down their list of potential designated player targets, with the front office travelling to Europe and South America in recent weeks.
This week’s Footy Talks podcast discusses the offseason to date for the club and what is still needed going forward. Michael Leach of 680 News joins Mitchell Tierney as the guest as they delve into a variety of topics from the last couple of weeks.
First and foremost is Bradley, what he has meant to this club and what he still has to give on the field. They also discuss Nicolas Benezet’s likely departure, Juan Agudelo and the legacy of Drew Moor as part of the Toronto FC segment.
Then discussion turns league wide as they take a look at the Vancouver Whitecaps’ massive signing of Canadian international Lucas Cavallini, Jonathan David winning Canadian player of the year, Alphonso Davies’ continued success at Bayern Munich and finish up by discussing Hanson Boakai’s signing with FC Edmonton.
