Rate the Reds: Nobody shines in loss to Independiente

Well, the results are in. Your ratings were fairly consistent from our Rate the Reds poll after Toronto FC’s 4-0 loss down in Panama to Independiente. Nobody was much of an outlier; Jacob Shaffelburg seems to have made the best impact from his substitute performance with an average grade of 4.9, while Terrence Boyd was punished for a lacklustre performance with a grade of 2.7.

The team in total had an average grade of 3.8, which — according to the criteria I laid out in the previous article — suggests a USL-quality performance, according to our readers.

Also, we’ve heard your feedback. You’ll no longer be required to rate every player if you don’t want to, and I’ll include Greg Vanney in future polls.
