Toronto FC II vs North Texas SC: Preview, Game Thread and Stream

The Young Reds face their biggest challenge yet, kickoff is at 4pm

Toronto FC II

On Wednesday afternoon, Toronto FC II will host North Texas SC at the BMO Training Ground. Kickoff for this one is at 4 pm.

North Texas currently sit at the top of the USL League One standings, with 19 points through seven matches. After the win against FC Tucson on Friday, TFC II Head Coach Michael Rabasca described this match as a “benchmark” game and a chance to see how a fellow academy side are developing players.

This will be the first match between the two sides, as North Texas are in their inaugural season.

Following the aforementioned victory on Friday, Toronto FC II are up to 7th in the USL League One standings, having picked up 10 points on three wins and one draw. There are only three points separating 3rd and 10th, and TFC II have a couple of games in hand on the rest of the league. North Texas are the only other team to have played just seven games, while most have already played nine.

Because of their strong performances against FC Tucson, defender Terique Mohammed and forward Jordan Perruzza were named to the USL League One Team of the Week.
