The Young Reds hit the road, kickoff is at 7 pm

Lucas Kschischang

After a perfect start to the home portion of their schedule, with two wins from two matches over the past week, Toronto FC II are back on the road on Saturday night. Down in Tennessee to play the Chattanooga Red Wolves, the Young Reds will be trying to extend their winning streak to three games. Kickoff is set for 7 pm.

In their last match, a 3-2 victory on Wednesday against North Texas SC, TFC II showed a lot of determination to fight for all three points, and they were rewarded. Against the first-placed team in USL League One thus far, they got off to a 2-0 lead, before conceding goals on either side of half time. In the 77th minute, TFC II took all three points after Jacob Shaffelburg’s chip over the backline was volleyed home by Terique Mohammed.

Here are the full highlights from that match:

Coming into this one, Chattanooga (3-4-2) sit in 7th in the USL League One standings, with 11 points through nine games. They won their last game, defeating Greenville Triumph 1-0 thanks to a goal from Éamon Zayed in the fourth minute of stoppage time.

TFC II (4-3-1) sit in 3rd with 13 points through eight matches.

This will be the first-ever game between TFC II and the expansion side, and the first of three matches between the two this season.

As always, the match will be streamed on YouTube:
