Toronto FC II vs Forward Madison FC: Preview, Game Thread and Stream

The Young Reds return home looking to start another winning streak, kickoff is at 4 pm

Forward Madison FC

Toronto FC II return to the BMO Training Ground on Friday afternoon for a match with Forward Madison FC. Kickoff for this one is at 4 pm.

After their five-game unbeaten streak came to an end on June 19th against Lansing, TFC II will be hoping to start a new unbeaten streak. They are yet to lose a match at home, having won their first three games and coming from 3-0 down to draw 3-3 in the fourth (and most recent) one.

Forward Madison are currently in good form, having won their last two matches, including a 4-1 win against league-leaders North Texas SC on Saturday.

In the first game between these two, on Saturday, May 4th in Wisconsin, Forward Madison came out on top, winning 3-1. That should give TFC II even more motivation to fight for the win in this one.

Also in TFC II news — Jacob Shaffelburg, who has been excellent for them this season, has made his first two first-team appearances since their last game. He made his debut on Saturday against FC Dallas and started Toronto FC’s wild 3-2 win over Atlanta United on Wednesday. He was the Man of the Match on Wednesday and has made a great first impression on Toronto FC fans.

As usual, the match will be streamed on YouTube:
