The Young Reds go for two in a row, kickoff is at 4 pm

Toronto FC II

After the first team made it two wins in a row on Wednesday, Toronto FC II will be looking to do the same today.

They play Lansing Ignite FC on Friday afternoon, as they try to pick up a second consecutive victory. Kickoff is at 4 pm.

In their last game, Toronto FC II defeated South Georgia Tormenta FC by a score of 3-0. Goals from Matthew Srbely, Jordan Perruzza and Patrick Bunk-Anderson saw the Young Reds pick up all three points.

Highlights from that match are here:

Lansing are on a three-game unbeaten streak, including a draw with FC Tucson on July 13th.

In three games between the two sides this season, Toronto FC II have the upper hand, winning two of them. Lansing won the most recent contest, however, with a 1-0 win on June 19th.

In other TFC II news, they've announced that they'll be playing SK Selects on August 11th. The game will be a part of the "SK Summer Soccer Series," which according to their Twitter account, is designed to promote Saskatchewan soccer talent and push for a Canadian Premier League team in the region.

Also, three TFC II players were named to USL League One's Team of the Week for week 16:
