Toronto FC II are back at the BMO Training Ground on Friday afternoon for their first meeting with Greenville Triumph SC.
After a loss last time out, despite having a group of first-team players in the lineup, the Young Reds will be looking to get back in the win column against a Greenville side that are currently two places, and three points, ahead of them in the standings.
Greenville’s goal differential is +4 and TFC II’s is exactly 0. It would take a lot, but if TFC II win by three goals or more, they would overtake the Triumph in the standings.
Greenville are hot at the moment, having won three of their last four matches, including a 4-0 win over league-leaders North Texas SC on July 26th. TFC II have lost their last two matches, so a win here would be a great way for them to gain a bit of confidence.
