Toronto FC II are hosting Orlando City B at 4 p.m. EST Friday afternoon, in need of a win to keep their USL League One playoff hopes alive.
The Young Reds sit one place above Orlando, but with 13 more points and a game in hand. TFC II have 26 points in 23 games, whereas Orlando have 13 in 24.
The two sides have already met twice this season, both very early in the year. On opening day, Toronto FC II won 2-0 in Orlando thanks for goals from Luca Petrasso and Jordan Perruzza. The Young Reds opened their season by playing their first six matches away from home, eventually coming full circle and ending their six-game road trip in Orlando, losing 2-0.
This is the first meeting between the two at the BMO Training Ground.
After last week's disappointing draw with Chattanooga, Toronto have now gone eight matches without a win. If they are to have any chance of making the USL League One playoffs at the end of the season, they have to win this game, or they'll likely be too far behind the teams ahead of them with just four games remaining after this one.
Jordan Faria's gorgeous FK in that game won USL League One Goal of the Week:
As always, the match will be shown on YouTube:
