The Waking the Red roundtable is back on this week’s Footy Talks podcast to chat about the club’s first two games of the season. This time, Jeffrey P. Nesker and Benedict Rhodes join Mitchell Tierney.

The trio discuss Toronto FC’s win over NYCFC, and the terrific performance from rookie ifunanyachi Achara. This leads to a discussion on what the team does in the wide part of the field going forward.

The selection headaches for Greg Vanney don’t end there, however, as limited minutes for Liam Fraser through the first two games lead to questions about how best to line up in the midfield. The guys talk about what the team should do this weekend against Nashville.

They then pick the teams that have impressed and disappointed through the first few weeks of the season.

Finally, it’s a quick preview of what to expect in Concacaf Champions League over the next couple of days.
