Toronto FC’s 2020 MLS season has begun. Not with a bang, but with a whimper. Shades of 2017? Let’s hope so!
The injuries, however, are giving me mad 2018 energy.

Round 1 of the 2020 WTR Toronto FC Prediction league is also in the books, and we have some upgrades planned for one of the community’s favourite team-building exercises this campaign.
First up, the updated complete rankings will be available to all via a view only link, as opposed to an embed.
But don’t worry—this year, every round, we will push out this sweet hero graphic featuring the top ten rankings, updated to taste:

Round 1 sees Mike Whaley take a 2 point lead at the top, followed by a seven-way tie for seconds and a twenty-two-way tie (?!) for the bronze (including defending two-time champ DTM-NS and yours truly). Early days, folks.
In terms of WTR staff, your fearless leader Michael Singh leads the rankings, holding one of seven coveted 2nd place positions.
Let’s refresh the point system for this year:
- 2 points for guessing the correct result (Win, Loss, or Draw)
- 1 point for guessing the amount of Toronto FC goals scored
- 1 point for guessing the amount of Toronto FC goals conceded
- 1 point for bonus
For this week’s bonus, Will Poz partake in any Panenkas? Yes or No?
