TORONTO, Canada.—A new, exciting platform connecting Torontonians during this unprecedented time.

On March 23, Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment (MLSE) launched SYRUP, a new digital media platform serving fans premium content focused on sports, music and entertainment culture from a distinct Toronto perspective. The platform carefully curates the city’s top trending topics, while creating relevant cultural and lifestyle stories and segments.

Since launching, SYRUP hosts have covered everything from The Weeknd’s latest album, IG LIVE stories from the Toronto Raptors and much more, including interviews with Team Canada’s Kayla Alexander, music artists Max Kerman and Tyler Shaw, Chef Matthew Sullivan, Toronto FC midfielder Liam Fraser and Toronto Maple Leafs General Manager Kyle Dubas.

With all live events on pause, us fans are craving and consuming content now more than ever, and we can tune into SYRUP to still feel connected to their favourite sports teams, artists and events. SYRUP reconnects fans and reinforces that the temporary absence of sports and live entertainment does not translate to the suspension of fandom.
